Explorations in Ink Continued

This continuation of our Explorations in Ink class is open to anyone interested in exploring this fun medium. In this class we continue to implement different ways of applying ink that create textures, high contrast and strong visual interest. We will illustrate in high detail with a pen, play with loosely spattered diluted ink, and use different tools like brushes and sponges. We will combine multiple techniques in the same piece and push this medium to new places.

When the class is complete, we hope you’ll have a number of strong pieces for your portfolio or the student art show. Most importantly we believe you’ll leave with a better understanding of how versatile and fun inking can be.
