Retreat 2026 FAQs
What time does the event start and end?
Check in at the hotel starts at 3PM on Tuesday. We will kick off our retreat with a group dinner on Tuesday night. Our retreat ends after breakfast on Friday morning. Check out is at 10AM on Friday.
What if I want to share a room with another student?
Sharing a room with another student is a great way to cut down on the cost of the retreat. Students are responsible for finding their own roommates and those pairings need to be communicated at the time of registration.
Can non-TBAA artists join the retreat?
Of course! If you have a friend that would like to join our retreat but has not yet taken a TBAA class, we would love to welcome them into our community. They just need to register like everyone else.
What if I want to bring a partner/friend that will not join the retreat?
If you would like to bring a plus one who will be exploring on their own, there is no charge for them to share the room with you. We will offer non-retreat guests the option to dine with us if they choose by registering for a meal plan only. The cost of this will be $300 and will include all 8 meals. There is also a restaurant on site where guests can purchase their own meals. Please note that we will be keeping you VERY busy so you will not be spending much time at all with any non-retreat guests. But it’s a great opportunity for them to explore the area. There is so much to do.
Can I extend my stay or come a day early?
If you would like to extend your stay or arrive early, please work with the hotel directly on those accommodations. You can do that once your final payment is processed by TBAA.
I have food allergies, can you accommodate?
During registration we will ask for specific allergies or dietary requirements and will work with the location to support as best that we can.
I have limited mobility. Will I be able to participate?
Absolutely! We will make sure that our plein air locations offer something for everyone. And the studio room and all food will all be at the hotel so everything will be easily accessible.
Will there be group transportation?
Everyone is responsible for getting to the retreat and back on their own. However, we encourage carpooling. We will provide a list of registrants to everyone so you can work on finding a ride partner.
Do I need to pay in full now?
No. We need a $100 non-refundable deposit from everyone to secure your spot. We will then ask for the remaining balance to be paid by May 1st.
What is the cancellation policy?
Two Bridges is responsible for a minimum attendance and will need to pay for your spot if you cancel. Because of this, we cannot give refunds as a rule. We will work with the resort to see if any of your money can be recouped in the event of an emergency cancellation but we cannot guarantee that it will.
